Meet the Writer
What to do with your stories can feel like an episode of ‘The Amazing Race’—except the clues aren’t scattered around the world, they’re spread across decades of your own life… and instead of racing from place to place, you’re trying to gather them all before time carries them away.
You, of course, want more than a slapped-together-over-the-weekend DIY job or, heaven forbid, a measly 200-word obituary.
Meanwhile, between the pace of modern life and the challenges of writing and publishing a life story, you may never find the time or a way to create something magical that your family will actually want to read. This is one big, hairy, audacious problem. And you shouldn’t have to be a professional writer to keep your stories alive, or organize them, or figure out how to get high-quality book printing. It’s hard, but I can help.
Hi, my name is Jeremiah Kalb. I’m a writer. I help you preserve your character and wisdom in a hardback that reads like a bestseller… before it’s too late.
I know the regret of an untold story. My grandpa died without his story written. I was the writer in the family, but I let that opportunity slip by, and it still haunts me. There will never be a book to hand my boys to guide future generations. That regret is heavy. I don’t want you to experience it.
During my 17+ years of writing, some of my subjects have included homemakers, business leaders, an environmental epidemiologist, a crop duster, a tombstone designer, a 103-year-old great-great-grandma, a sushi roller, a Romanian immigrant, doctors, my parents, and many more.
What I’ve learned is that once you start asking the right questions, every human being is suddenly very, very fascinating.
One of the easiest and quickest ways to get your story into a hardback is to partner with a skilled, experienced professional to write your story in a style that engages and delights your family from start to finish. I can help you with this.
