Stories Connect Hearts
A well-told story evokes universal emotions that create deep connections.
Until someone tells a story, it's hard to understand an individual's motivations, struggles, or values.
Which is why powerful narratives must be crafted and shared.
No Stories = No Connections, Understanding, or Meaning
A Writing Project Doesn't Need to Be Intimidating

Here's How We Do It

Step 1: A Plot That Engages Readers From Start to  Finish

A solid story theme ensures you strike a chord and will linger in the hearts and minds of readers for decades. We'll give your stories power through plots that connect with the audience on both an emotional and intellectual level.

Step 2: Lay It All Out With An Outline

A detailed outline removes all the guesswork. I didn't invent the method - I've just borrowed it from prolific writer James Patterson, a fellow obsessive outliner. The best part is the stories practically write themselves before I craft the first sentence.

Step 3: Write

At this stage, I've gone through all the mundane, step-by-step details of writing: focusing, interviewing, organizing and outlining, crafting a lead. The pressure has built up, and it's time to release some of the creative steam. The elusive sense of "flow" will be at my fingertips as I knock out a solid first draft. I don't let my inner demons get the better of my writing mind because I'm solving simple, finite problems, one step at a time.

Step 4: Add a Light Polish

By now, I've written a solid first draft and polished it to what seems 95% perfect. If I've properly prepared, my first drafts are often close to my last ones. I always go through them at least once more, adding a light polish. I then share with you for review and comments. When you ask me to revise something, I focus on making the exact changes you request. My priority is ensuring the story aligns with your vision so it’s ready for print.

Meet the Writer

Hi, I'm Jeremiah Kalb. I'm not from a traditional writing background.

In fact, I was a white-collar professional working in the healthcare industry who wrote on the side.

Back in 2012, I found myself asking the painful question,
“Why did I let this happen?”

My grandfather had fallen victim to the thief of time. Procrastination. He lived a long and eventful life filled with adventures, love, heartbreak, and success. Then he died. My hero. Without his life story written.

I beat myself up. I’m a writer. I knew better. Why didn’t I guide him? Heck, I should have just written it myself! I know the pains of an untold story.

Several years later, when my father was nearing retirement, driving home from work one day, I told myself this can
’t happen to my dad. With a little convincing, I talked him into meeting with me weekly to work on his biography, and now life is all good. I sleep easy, knowing his life story is preserved.

My passion for storytelling can be traced back to middle school when my English teacher stood in front of the class with my work raised high and announced, “This is excellent writing!” He then proceeded to lecture why. The piece was a colorful description of a moose trekking through the snow in Yellowstone National Park. I completed the assignment using my grandfather's old typewriter. This was 1991 before computers were mainstream in homes.

Whether as a member of my junior high school newspaper team, stints in corporate storytelling, writing for the No. 1 news website in eastern Idaho, or crafting biographies, I love a good challenge. Writing fits the bill. Something is fulfilling about turning a blank screen into a cohesive, captivating narrative on a deadline.

Over the past 15 years, some of my subjects have included homemakers, business leaders, an environmental epidemiologist, a crop duster, a tombstone designer, a 103-year-old great-great-grandma, a sushi roller, a Romanian immigrant, doctors, and many more—including a memorable story featuring legendary actor Gene Hackman.

I started my writing LLC after a hospital asked me to write the career biography of a doctor retiring after 44 years. I interviewed the beloved physician for several hours and turned my notes into a five-chapter hardcover book for his retirement party. Seeing the positive response to the book, I knew I wanted to help preserve legacies—capturing the wisdom, humor, and defining moments of a life so loved ones and future generations can hold them close and be inspired.

I write life stories because I believe people deserve more than an obituary. I’m proud to have spent years mastering my craft and creating work that will outlive me.

Here's what  I can do for you:

  • I’ll give you a clear, simple, and structured framework for success.
  • I’ll support you every step of the way.
  • I’ll aim to become your trusted advisor and valued confidant.
  • I’ll craft a life story narrative that will help you be remembered forever.
  • We’ll do all of the above in a way that’s fun.
